1st prize £250, 2nd prize £150, 3rd prize £50
plus £10 awards for highly commended entries

For Category C
1st prize £150, 2nd prize £100, 3rd prize £50
plus £10 awards for highly commended entries

Poems must not have been previously published, won an award or be currently entered in another competition
Poems, in English and not exceeding 40 lines, should be printed or typed on one side of A4 paper only, and are not returnable
Your name must not appear on any poem
Copyright remains with the poet
Entry fees are £3 per poem or 4 for £10, or £3.50 and £10.60 if paid on-line (to cover PayPal fees)
Deadline Saturday 12th May 2012
An Awards Ceremony will take place at the Northampton Guildhall on Thursday 21st June 2012, at 7.00 pm, and the winning poems will be posted on the BBC and NLG websites
